FINDING STILLNESS IN THE URBAN JUNGLE

A WEEKEND OF MEDITATION IN SINGAPORE
POSTPONED until Oct/Nov

WITH SENIOR IREST® TEACHER & TRAINER FUYUKO TOYATA

AND CERTIFIED IREST® TEACHER DAVINA HO

This inaugural urban retreat with Fuyuko Toyota will focus on using meditation for Inner Wellbeing, Resilience & Welcoming Difficult Feelings & Emotions. Meditation is a practice that many of us find difficult to start and apply to our daily life. This weekend retreat will focus on a mixture of direct experience of practices as well as teachings simple, yet powerful tools, derived from an evidence-based iRest® Meditation. You will come away deeply relaxed & rejuvenated, and with useful tools for managing daily stress or powerful emotions in a safe and non-judgemental way.

ABOUT IREST®

iRest meditation is designed to bring the healing benefits of yogic and meditative practices to a wide variety of people. It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of whether you are a lifelong meditator or if you have never tried meditation before.

By practicing iRest regularly - a little and often - you can tap into the parts of your brain that allow for greater insight and quiet the parts of the brain that are responsible for negative thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Using iRest, people learn to welcome life as it is happening and to respond - not react - to challenging situations.

iRest can work to alleviate stress, help us sleep better, and heal unresolved issues and traumas. It can also allow us recognize an underlying peace of mind that is always present within us - no matter what circumstances we are facing in life.

People practicing iRest experience:

  • Decreased stress, anxiety, fear and depression

  • Improved sleep and decreased insomnia

  • An ability to better manage chronic and acute pain

  • Healthier interpersonal relations

  • Heightened energy levels

  • Improved sense of control

  • More confidence and joy in their lives

  • A greater sense of peace and well-being

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Using Meditation for Inner Wellbeing, Resilience & Welcoming Difficult Emotions

One of the most unique components of iRest is actually engaging with, rather than simply observing emotions. Being able to welcome whatever arises in a place of open curiosity and equanimity, is an art that will serve you throughout your life. The practices in this session will help you cultivate an unshakable foundation of resilience.

TESTIMONIALS

I've had the privilege of attending mutiple retreats with Fuyuko and they have transformed my life. Fuyuko is an incredible being filled with compassion, love, and lightness that leaves your soul energized and happy. Her depth of spiritual immersion, decade of study of i-Rest from Dr.Richard Miller, and rich experiences are beautifully woven through her meditations and teachings. Fuyuko is a shimmering light in our world and I'm forever grateful to know her warmth. If you have an opportunity to attend a retreat or training with Fuyuko, do it! It's BEYOND worth it and so much more :)
